Manufacturing liquid filled explosion proof unit heaters since 1982 Ruffneck has become the market leader in quality and innovation.  These CSA certified or UL listed heaters are typically used in the most vigorous of applications such as oil refineries, petrochemical plants, pulp & paper mills, hazardous waste storage facilities, wastewater plants, or anyplace else where explosive gases or dust are present.  Their heating elements are permanently welded and silver soldered into the heat exchanger.  This permanent system means less leaks and field problems.  This is a longer lasting system that will not require field maintenance.  These heaters utilize a unique evacuated core which produced a higher air temperature rise, more even heat distribution, and a faster warm-up.  These units also carry a 3 year warranty standard, and are available with built in NEMA 7 thermostat or disconnect.

Ruffneck's newest product the CR1 line does not disappoint.  The only such heater to bear the UL label for marine applications this heater is as tough as it gets.  Stainless steel elements are standard with Monel elements available for the harshest of environments.  This unit comes standard with a 16 gage stainless steel housing, hinged lid, stainless steel discharge grille, and single mounting hole for ease of installation.  Optional accessories include door interlocking disconnect, three position fan switch, or built in room thermostat.
